Oba Olayinka Celebrates Baba Adejumoke Oni as He Joins Octogenarian Club




The Olu-Odo of Odo-Ijesha in Atakumosa East Local Government Area of Osun State, Oba Olufemi Olayinka, on Friday rejoiced with a prominent elder of the town, Elder Adejumoke Omoarare Oni, as he clocks 80 years  today. 

In a tribute, he  personally signed and titled “Tribute to Baba Adejumoke Omoarare Oni, FCA, as He Joins Octogenarian Club”, the monarch described Baba Oni, a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), as a towering figure whose life of service and achievements remain exemplary.

Oba Olayinka highlighted the elder statesman’s contributions as a teacher, accountant, and corporate leader, noting that his footprints in education, the accounting profession, and the corporate world are indelible.

"From the classroom to the boardroom, you are a legend of many callings. You bestrode enviable professions like a colossus. As a teacher, you moulded countless lives; as a Fellow of Africa’s most respected accounting professional body, ICAN, you upheld best practices in the noble profession. As a corporate titan, you shaped policies and decisions in boardrooms. Without mincing words, you are an avatar of excellence", the royal father wrote.

Oba Olayinka  further commended Baba  Oni’s enduring commitment to humanity, stressing that his legacy goes beyond professional excellence to touching lives positively.

"Beyond professional excellence and strides, your life is an eloquent testament to a life of service, humanity and integrity. On behalf of all sons and daughters of the gold-rich town of Odo-Ijesha, I wish you many more years in good health and continued service to humanity, sir” Oba Olayinka added.
